Ingredients
- 5 pcs Wafers
- 125 ml Water
- 200 g Butter
- 220 g Sugar
- 30 g Cocoa Powder
- 120 g Powdered Milk
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice Freshly squeezed
Instructions
Prepare the Cocoa Filling
- Place the butter, water, sugar, and cocoa powder into a saucepan.
- Heat the mixture, stirring continuously, until all ingredients are fully melted and combined.
- Once melted, remove the mixture from the heat. Stir vigorously and set it aside to cool slightly.
- When the chocolate mixture has cooled to a warm temperature, add it to the powdered milk. And mix thoroughly to prevent lumps from forming. Once powder milk is mixed in thoroughly, add lemon juice and mix briefly. (If mixed for too long with lemon, mixture will change color to light brown.)
- Set the filling aside to cool completely.
Assemble the Wafer Layers
- Lay the wafers on a flat surface.
- Spread about 3-5 tablespoons of the cooled filling onto the first wafer.
- Place another wafer on top and add another layer of filling. Repeat this process with the remaining wafers.
- Once all layers are assembled, cover the stack with aluminum foil. Place a weight on top to press the layers together.
- Transfer the layered wafer stack to the refrigerator to chill.
- Before serving, cut into smaller pieces. Enjoy!
