Beer Rye Bread

Ingredients

1 1/4 cups of hot beer (115 – 125 deg F)
1/4 cup oil
3 tbsp packed brown sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups bread flour
1 cup rye flour
1 1/2 tbsp caraway seeds
3/4 tsp ground fennel
3/4 tsp fresh orange zest
2 tsp Red Star Quick Rise yeast

Place all ingredients in your machine in the order recommended by your machine’s manufacturer. Select the Basic/White rapid cycle and press start.

This recipe yields 1 loaf.
